Lexi Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the Lexi mobile application (the “Service”) operated by Really Broke Ventures LLC (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not use the Service.


Account Creation & Identity

Lexi does not require users to manually create an account.

Instead, the Service uses Apple’s authentication system to automatically create a secure, app-specific user identifier.

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Apple may provide us with a unique, private identifier associated with your Apple ID

  • Your identity remains anonymous unless you choose to share additional information

  • This identifier allows us to store your progress, vocabulary lists, and learning history


You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Apple ID credentials. We are not responsible for unauthorized access to your account resulting from compromised Apple ID credentials or device misuse.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if suspicious or abusive activity is detected.


Use of the Service

Lexi provides vocabulary-building tools such as flashcards, quizzes, definitions, and personalized learning recommendations.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.

We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service without prior notice. You agree that we are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.


Intellectual Property

All content, features, learning modules, designs, and functionalities within Lexi are the exclusive property of Really Broke Ventures LLC and its licensors.

Lexi is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

Our trademarks and branding may not be used without prior written consent.

User-Generated Content

Lexi may allow you to create or store your own vocabulary lists, notes, or custom learning sets.

You are solely responsible for any content you create or upload.

You agree not to generate or store any content that:

  • Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, or harassing

  • Is obscene, vulgar, or discriminatory

  • Violates intellectual property rights

  • Is otherwise inappropriate or objectionable


We reserve the right to remove or manage content at our discretion.

Personal Data and Learning Insights

The Service may collect data such as:

  • Vocabulary progress

  • Quiz scores

  • Custom word lists

  • Learning behavior and usage insights


This data is used to improve your learning experience and personalize app features.

All data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Really Broke Ventures LLC, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or learning progress

  • Service interruptions

  • Unauthorized access to your Apple ID or device

  • Errors in content, translations, or definitions

  • Operational or technical issues affecting the Service


This applies whether the claim is based in contract, tort, negligence, warranty, or any other legal theory.


Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Failure to enforce a provision shall not be considered a waiver.

If any part of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining sections will remain in effect.


Changes to These Terms

We may update or replace these Terms at our sole discretion.

If changes are material, we will attempt to provide at least 30 days’ notice before new terms become effective.


By continuing to use the Service after updates, you agree to the revised Terms.

If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Service.
